We are looking for a fantastic & enthusiastic Behaviour Coordinator to work in our client school in Northwest London. This is a great way to make a lasting impression in a school on both teachers and students alike.
**About the role**:
**Post title: BehaviourCoordinator Salary/Grade: £80 - £90**
**Working Time: Term-time(39weeksperyear),35hoursperweek Reporting to: Assistant Head Teacher**
**Liaisingwith**:
SLT,HeadsofYears,HeadsofFaculty,Inclusionteam,Teachers,Tutors,Mentors,SENCO,relevantsupport staff, external agencies and parents/carers
**MainObjectiveoftheRole**:
- ToassisttheHeadteacherintheoverallmanagementanddevelopmentoftheschool.
- UnderthereasonabledirectionoftheAssistantHeadandDeputyHead-Behavior&Safeguardingcarry out the professional duties of a Behavior Coordinator as set out below.
- ToworkwithSLT,HeadsofYearandFacultyLeaderstooverseeandimplementtheschool'sbehavior and policy and to promote the school’s core values.
- TosupporttheAssistantHeadteacherandDeputyHeadteacherBehavior&Safeguardinginthe development of behavior management across the school.
- Tosupportallstaffinordertoensurehighstandardsofbehavioraroundtheschoolatalltimes,sothat the best possible standards of teaching and learning are achieved.
- Toworkcollaborativelywithlearnersandparents/carerstopromotepositivebehavioramongall learners, and to help learners overcome barriers to learning such as challenging behavior.
- Tocoach,supportandtrainstafftoimplementbehaviorinterventions.
- Toworkwithexternalagenciesasrequired.

**QualificationsandExperience**:
- Experienceofworkingwithchildren/youngpeople.

- Experienceofworkingwithchildrenofarelevantage,dealingwithdifficultsituationsrelatingtopoor behavior
- Experienceofworkingwithoutsideagenciesandparticipatinginmeetings
- Experienceofassessinglearners’needs
- Experienceofdeliveringtrainingcoursesandbriefingsessionsonspecifictopicsincludingbehavior
- Experienceofdeliveringprogrammeswithlearnerswithchallengingbehavior,includingone-to-one, small group and whole-class activities
- Experienceofcoachingandadvisingstaffonsuitablebehaviorinterventions
- Experienceofworkingcloselywithfamilies/carers,includingcarryingouthomevisits
