HR Advisor/Consultant (Projects) 6-9-month FTC

A dynamic and enthusiastic HR Advisor/ Consultant is required on a fixed terms basis to own and drive an absence management project within Integral. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR generalist to create significant impact and take responsibilityfor an initiative that will reduce cost from the bottom line.

What this job involves
- Development of a seamless end-to-end absence management process.
- Analysis and diagnosis of reported absence, providing trends, feedback and other ancillary information that could improve the effectiveness and efficiencies of managers’ and HR performance to significantly reduce absence days and cost of absence acrossthe business.
- Support the roll out of absence management training with our L&D partners and ensure learning is embedded.
- Establish key stakeholder relationships at all levels and work across boundaries to drive results.
- Coach and advise managers on day-to-day activities and concerns related to absence management, productivity, and engagement challenges, upskilling at every opportunity.
- Establish an effective monitoring and review process to ensure activities are handled sensitively and correctly in a timely manner, facilitating meetings where required.
- Confidence to liaise with third party suppliers, particularly around Occupational Health to ensure we receive optimum service, quality and results.
- Actively leverage the available technology in order to drive value and results.
- Proactively anticipate opportunities or issues and develop innovative solutions to address the opportunities at root cause with the intention to arrive at sustainable solutions.
- Integrate a mindset around diversity and inclusion continuously and be able and willing to coach others to understand ways to optimize the company’s values.
- Position yourself as a credible champion who embodies the company’s culture and values in all of your interactions.

What we are looking for:

- Bachelor's degree in HR or other relevant field, or equivalent 5 years’ experience working within a HR generalist or HR project related role. CIPD membership desirable.
- Strong experience in employee relations and up to date with UK employment legislation.
- Thrives on a challenge, is structured, methodical, and tenacious with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Experience using data and/or analytics to arrive at outcomes.
- Energy and passion about human resources and making a difference.
- Evidence of business acumen with proven results in influencing and advising managers and leaders at all levels of the business who are both virtual and local.
- Self-starter and motivated professional with a desire to succeed and lead others to drive through tangible and meaningful results.
- Ability to thrive with change and ambiguity - can navigate through a complex, multi-faceted organization with multiple stakeholders.
- Creative problem solver in a sometimes resource constrained environment.
- Ability to maintain a sense of humour and a balanced perspective.
