Bristol, United Kingdom Zellis Full time

**About the role**:
Are you a seasoned HR professional with a passion for driving organisational success through strategic human resource management? We are seeking an exceptional Principal HR Consultant to join our Management Consultancy team. If you possess expert knowledge in HR practices, a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions, and a desire to make a meaningful impact, then this is the perfect opportunity for you

You'll need to be extremely credible with customers, have a strong delivery track record, and be able to energise and motivate a team who has come together for the specific engagement. To be successful you'll bring gravitas along with a pragmatic and transformational approach to engaging internal stakeholders. You'll act as the voice of the customer internally (in a delivery context) and have a ‘can do’ attitude to ensure we exceed customer expectations and become their trusted partner.

The types of projects you'll be delivering include:

- Leading strategy development workshops (e.g. HR operating and/or technology strategy).
- Reviewing the internal operations of the clients HR operations, making recommendations for improvements and leading the implementation of these (e.g. operating model and process redesign).
- Organisation readiness during an implementation (e.g change management) and BAU improvements (e.g. business case development for new modules and internal efficiencies).

You'll have market-facing involvement with clients, specifically to participate in selling and closing engagement bids and initiatives in services. You'll be responsible for identifying and pulling together the right project team with the right mix of skills for each engagement, and project managing simple projects without the need for a project manager.

Other key responsibilities include:

- Managing the P&L on a job-by-job basis.
- Owning the delivery of each project in line with expected outcomes, bringing accountability for customer satisfaction, customer benefits and quality KPI achievement and delivering in line with target margins.
- Leading on post-project reviews and implementing lessons learnt in other engagements, but also sharing with colleagues.
- Contributing to performance management conversations and skills development focus.
- Readily embracing new Zellis Product features and the opportunity this presents to deliver consulting services to customers.
- Cross-functional influencing, relationship building and project management towards a broad constituency, ranging from peer working groups to channel partners.
- Taking a leadership role in driving initiatives, working across organisations and structuring approaches to new opportunities.

**Skills and experience**:

- Strong delivery track record for strategic HR & WFM consulting engagements.
- Exceptional communication and ability to develop robust and enduring relationships with stakeholders.
- Outstanding leadership and presentation ability.
- Passion for people management.
- An action oriented and collaborative team player by nature.
- Passionate, driven and with defined leadership qualities enabling you to gain confidence and buy-in from your peers.
- Strong customer focus.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Sets extremely high standards for self and others.
- Ability to be both a strategist as well as a strong operator.
- Capable of conveying complex concepts in simple terms and of tailoring your presentation style of delivery to suit the audience.
- Ability to work effectively at all levels, with the gravitas, charisma and knowledge to be credible in all business situations.
