**About the role**:
We're seeking a pro-active and pragmatic HR enthusiast to join our People team here at AXA. We're on a journey to drive our People Strategy and agenda by coaching and challenging our leaders in their thinking and ways of working. This is a great opportunity for a Project Consultant looking for their next step, facilitating the successful delivery of projects that support and drive transformation set out in strategic people plans.

Working closely with the Strategic People Partners and stakeholders, you'll conduct research, collect and analyse data to identify issues, provide advice, and work with the team to develop and implement innovative and pragmatic solutions. You'll use your experience of project management and data insights to solve business problems that have measurable impact and add commercial value.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home at your local office.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Work alongside the Strategic People Partners and People Projects and Transformation Lead to scope key projects and manage project delivery.
- Support, design and deliver People projects/ innovative solutions and change to ensure continuous improvement and value add to the business and our customers.
- Responsible for effective project controls and procedures within given initiatives.
- Develop and sustain collaborative working relationships across the organisation.
- Ensure that there is regular feedback on progress, milestones and blockers to success to the Strategic People Partners, People Projects and Transformation Lead and any associated key stakeholders so their fully engaged in the outcomes and progression of projects.
- Produce and deliver presentation packs and business cases for key stakeholders to support projects or initiatives.
- Deliver project communications. For example, training managers on the delivery of communications for change related initiatives ensuring quality and consistency of messaging.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to the business on People policies, processes and procedures relating to the project delivery.
- Analyse and report on HR MI, providing effective solutions and strategies to ensure metrics are being met and shortfalls are addressed (e.g. turnover, headcount, discipline and grievance, performance management, absence, reward).

**About you**:
**What we’re looking for**:

- Generalist HR work experience including managing projects.
- Familiar with project management methodologies, prioritising and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong confidence with data, ability to conduct data analyses, recognise trends, tie those back to business priorities, and develop recommendations.
- Effective stakeholder management skills, excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills essential.
- Well organised, pragmatic and calm in time pressured situations.
- Ability to influence managers at a senior level and employees at all levels.
- Able to work in sensitive situations and maintain confidentiality.
- Up to date knowledge of employee legislation and its implications for the business experience.
- Experience managing change/ transformation projects.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
