As a Ward Manger for our Learning Disability & Autism Service, you will need to demonstrate a shared belief that the person is central to everything we do, and ensure the ward team are responsive to the patient's changing needs, reviewing and revising plansin collaboration with the MDT to meet these needs. You will be prepared to support positive risk-taking opportunities within a context of robust risk assessment and management to ensure those we support are kept safe.

As a Ward Manager, you will empower recovery and deliver supervision to staff across the ward to deliver great healthcare. You will work alongside thesenior Nurse to manage the on-call service and manage the ward budgets.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Supporting the implementation of local Clinical Governance Strategy
- Satisfactory fulfilment of core competencies
- Manage the achievements and maintenance of the Care Standards Act

**To be successful, you will need**:

- A relevant nursing qualification and registration
- A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
- A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice
- Relevant experience in a similar environment.
- Proven track record of leadership skills.
