A new opportunity has arisen for a HR & Payroll Advisor to join the team at a successful chemical manufacturing company in Cheshire.

You will be a valued member of the HR & Finance team, dedicated to providing HR & Payroll support at a large manufacturing facility (headcount circa 260)

**Key Tasks**
- Provide generalist HR administrative support to the site
- Support HR Manager with HR related queries
- Act as point of contact with external payroll provider (ADP) and administer all HR & Payroll systems
- Resolve any payroll related issues
- Manage all employee lifecycle documentation and administration
- Produce and maintain HR related records in line with legislation
- Deliver and improve the pre-boarding, onboarding & offboarding experience
- Generate ideas to improve existing processes
- Contribute to strategic HR projects

**Requirements**:

- CIPD qualification advantageous although training can be provided
- 5-10 years' experience working in a HR/Payroll department
- Previous experience in a HR Generalist role
- Experienced of using HR systems including Payroll - ADP preferred
- Experience gained in a manufacturing /logistics/retail environment - advantageous
- Computer literate and confident manipulating spreadsheets
- Well organised with high attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Drive for further progression and development
