We are now looking for Finance Business Partner, to join us on a permanent full-time basis, working 35 hours per week.

**The Role**
As a Finance and Business Partner, you will provide financial support and guidance to large grant-funded programmes and will assist in the financial management of some consultancy projects.
In this varied role, you will work with Programme and Project Managers throughout the programme/project pipeline, from producing project proposals and budgets, to cost recovery and income recognition, to monthly project reports and reviews.
You will also review project finance procedures and methodology, suggesting improvements and/or developing methodologies where appropriate.
Additionally, you will:

- Track project budgets and monitor project expenditure
- Ensure client and/or donor compliance requirements are met in financial records and reporting
- Provide oversight of contract and funding agreement requirements, ensuring relevant personnel are informed of obligations
**About You**
To be considered as a Finance Business Partner, you will need:

- To be part qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar project-focused position
- Experience of income recognition and full cost recovery
- The ability to develop budgets and forecast expenditure
- Advanced knowledge of Excel to manage and analyse financial data
- To be highly organised and able to understand the finances for complex programmes and projects
- A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline such as social sciences, economics, international development or equivalent relevant experience
Ideally, you will have experience in donor-funded (preferably multi-donor) programmes with experience of preparing donor finance reports.
