London, United Kingdom EMANUEL SCHOOL Full time

**Salary**:Competitive dependent on experience

**Contract**: Temporary

**Hours**: Full time

**The role**

Emanuel School is looking for an Estates Coordinator to play a key operational role within our Estates department.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of our facilities and support a busy, dynamic department. As part of the Estates team, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

- Supervising and managing service contracts
- Creating, maintaining, and monitoring all databases and compliance folders to ensure statutory requirements are met
- Implementing, organising, and improving the school’s key system
- Assisting with managing the Estates Helpdesk
- Supporting the Estates Director and Manager with estates-related tasks, including documentation, negotiations, record-keeping, compliance, and quotes

**About you**

To succeed in this role, you will need strong administrative and office experience, including experience of database management. You should be proficient in ICT and software packages, including the full Microsoft Office suite, have excellent customer service skills, and be able to multitask effectively in a busy environment.

While not essential, a qualification in health and safety, facilities, or project management, along with previous experience working in a facilities or estates department, would be highly desirable.

**Working at Emanuel**

There is always a buzz at Emanuel. Colleagues enjoy their work and, like the pupils, are ambitious for the school. With a weekly staff briefing, half termly staff meetings, termly consultative group meetings and a common room committee, all of us are engaged in a lively ongoing dialogue about the school’s aims and aspirations.

Everyone works hard here, and anyone joining us should expect to do the same and share our commitment to the highest standards. At the same time our ethos remains unpretentious, kindly and practical, and there’s a strong sense of community and friendship at the school.

We aim to look after our staff well: we have an appraisal scheme with a focus on employees’ professional development; we sponsor postgraduate courses and a range of training opportunities; we offer salary sacrifice childcare vouchers through TEDS Premier, we offer a healthcare plan via Simply Health that includes counselling and medical support; and we’re committed to supporting staff wellbeing. Financially, all staff benefit from good pension provision and free lunches.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary
