As an HR consultant you will provide support to the Senior HR Consultants and the Head of HR Services to develop the HR consultancy services within the education sector.

**To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials**:

- Associate CIPD qualified (or equivalent)
- Evidence of CPD as a HR practitioner, ideally from within the education sector
- Previous experience of working as a trusted advisor to key organisational stakeholders
- Understand and have Knowledge of payroll and pensions, HR information systems, DBS and recruitment
- Previous experience of managing and bringing to a successful conclusion complex and contentious HR casework including discipline, grievance, capability, and harassment
- Current knowledge and understanding of HR best practice
- Previous experience and knowledge of working with and negotiating with trade unions
- Ability to review, develop and implement effective human resources policies and procedures
- Have excellent and effective communication, influencing and persuasion skills
- Ability to analyse and interpret complex information, and prepare and deliver briefings, articles, papers and presentations
- Have excellent time management skills in order to manage a demanding workload
- Ability to generate and follow up business development leads and deliver new business for the organisation
- Confidence to take on board new projects and instructions
- Ability to produce orginal ideas, approaches, or insights in order to continually develop the HR Services practice

**Within this position, you’ll be**:

- Providing a HR advisory service to clients which is solution focused inlcuding the full range of complex employee relations and wider HR issues
- At all time delivering expectional client service.
- Keeping in tough with sector developments and changes in order to ensure that advice is compliant
- Leading on complex casework and ad-hoc client projects
- Supervising and delegating to HR Advisors
- Preparing and attending training for clients/pitches/tender presentations
- Preparing and creating new precedent documentation for clients
- Understanding reviews of existing precedent documentation to ensure compliance and best practice are met
- Expanding new business opportunities and seeing them through to successful completion
- Initiate public speaking at conferences and events
- Writing blog posts and articles on an ad-hoc basis
- Ensuring excepetional client care by building and maintaining relationships with allocated clients
- Managing allocated client matter files, ensuring fees and time are managed and that support teams are notified of billing requirements

**Salary & Working Hours
Salary is £45,000 - £58,000 per annum, dependant on experience

Working hours are Monday - Friday - Hybrid working and field based.
