You will use your unrivalled knowledge of employment law and best practice, whilst building lasting relationships with clients and the team within Impact HR.What you will be doingYou will provide proactive HR support to clients across various sectors, handing a wide range of people matters, queries and projects.Service delivery and client supportProvide advice to Impact HR clients through phone, email and online call support as requiredEnsure advice, documentation and support are delivered to a consistently high standardDeliver pragmatic HR advice in line with client expectations, both reactive and proactiveSupport the HR Consultancy team providing advice to their portfolio of clientsEnsure your advice delivery is aligned with Impact HR's central tools, systems and operational frameworksYour day to day will include:Employee relationsGuide clients through all types of ER cases, including but not limited to disciplinary, grievance and capability casesProvide advice and the relevent documentation to ensure a compliant process that meets the client's needsAbsence managementAdvise on managing short and long term absence cases, including sickness, holidays, career breaks and compassionate leaveGuide clients in the use of absence management tools such as welfare calls, return to work interviews and absence review meetingsTUPE and redundancyProvide first line advice on TUPE transfer queries, including those involving redundanciesGuide clients through redundancy procedures, both standalone and multple roles, ensuring a compliant process with relevant documentationFamily friendly and flexible workingAdvise on family friendly policies, both statutory and enhancedSupport clients through flexible working requests and hybrid working arrangementsEquality, diversity and inclusionProvide advice on EDI related cases including discrimination, bullying and harassmentRecommend and supply policy documentation to ensure clients can foster inclusive workplacesRecruitment and selectionAdvise clients on legal requirements and best practice in recruitment campaignsSupport with drafting job descriptions and designing fair and effective selection processesProvide guidance on sourcing and attracting the right candidates for clients, including tools such as psychometric or on the job testingOnboarding and inductionReview and design induction, onboarding and probation processes that encourages employee engagementAdvise on managing probationary reviews and early stage employment concernsHR documentationDraft and review offer documentation including contracts and onboarding formsAdvise on contractual variationsWork with clients to create and update handbooks and individual policies, tailored to their businessBusiness development and networkingBuild strong relationships and deliver a consistently excellent service to help you identify opportunities to grow client accounts or introduce new servicesAny other duties as requiredWhat Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)You have developed strong relationships with the team and a number of clients, becoming a trusted Advisor they turn to for supportYou have handled a wide range of HR queries and casework, consistently delivering legally sound and practical adviceYou have supported multiple clients with policy and documentation projects (contracts, handbooks, policies)Your written and verbal communication is consistently accurate, professional and tailored to the clientYou have identified opportunities for additional consultancy support through projects, training etcYou have contributed to the development of internal consultancy processes and shared knowledge with your peersAbout YouYou are a skilled HR professional, who conbines solid HR knowledge with excellent communcation, prioritisation and client service skills.
