**As a Security Officer, you'll be working as part of a team that has been voted one of the Top 5 Great Places to Work in the UK, 5 years running.**

**This is an opportunity to be a key part of our client's team and build customer service experiences.**

**Shifts will be 4 on 4 off days, nights & weekends working 7 to 7.**

**42 hours per week.**

**Great public transport links and free on-site parking are available.**

**Interviews will take place via Teams and Face-to-Face.**

**How you will make an impact**:

- Prevent and deter unauthorised access to the site.
- Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV.
- Patrolling.
- Provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring the safeguarding of the premises.
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Display an outstanding level of customer service.
- Meet, greet and assist visitors/staff/contractors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Assist in emergency situation i.e. fire evacuation and conduct staff searches where required.
- Maintain an alert and vigilant approach at all times, to ascertain any potential threats or changes within the work environment and take the appropriate steps in order to reduce disruption, loss, or damage.
- Demonstrates the Securitas values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.

**Essential Skills**

**What you will bring**:

- **Right to work in the UK**:

- **Have a five-year checkable employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment, or full and part-time education during that period.**:

- **SIA Licence**:

- Demonstrable experience in delivering high-quality customer service
- Computer literate
- Excellent communication skills - both written and oral.
- Speaks clearly and fluently
- Keen attention to detail
- Smart and Presentable
- Ability to work unsupervised and on own initiative.
- No current criminal convictions
- Be able to work independently as well as part of a team

**Desirable Skills**
- Previous experience gained in a Corporate Security environment
- CCTV licence
- First Aid at Work qualification.
