Security Officer

RedWatch Security Ltd was incorporated in 2007 and has been providing the United Kingdom with a national security coverage in Manned Guarding. We also operate a 24-hour mobile response unit, running for over eight years.

RedWatch Security Ltd is looking for outstanding, professional Security officers to work alongside our in-house team. Working within our essential security team, you will be the main point of contact for our clients within our portfolio.

**Employment Type**:Zero-Hour Contract

**Hours and/or Shift Patterns**:Monday to Sunday 1000 - 2000

**Key Responsibilities**
- To assist with complying with agreed SLA's and Key Performance Indicators
- To always comply with Assignment Instructions and standard operating procedures and carry out duties accordingly
- Ensure that you have read, understood and signed the Assignment Instructions
- Ensure that Health and Safety processes and procedures are always complied with
- Escalate appropriate issues to Line Management and Client Control and Command Centres where necessary
- Maintain expected standards of time-keeping, appearance and customer service
- Participate in any company initiatives which are designed to achieve company business objectives
- Attend team meetings and one-to-one review meetings where applicable
- To maintain in confidence, client and company confidential information
- Always follow group and company policies and procedures
- Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training.
- Proactively identify and report any security risks to your Line Manager
- To station your vehicle on site as per client's instructions

**Benefits of working with RedWatch Security Ltd**:RedWatch Security Ltd's holiday year begins on the 1st January and ends on 31st December each year, during which you will receive a paid holiday entitlement of 28 days, based on the number of hours you have worked. Due to high demand, annual leave requested from 1st December to 1st January will not be accepted unless express authorization is sought from your Line Manager for exceptional circumstances. Time and Half is paid for all UK Bank Holidays if worked, deemed to run from midnight to midnight. We also offer a competitive work-place pension which is optional and you are entitled to opt-out.

**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience**:At the commencement of your employment, you will receive training shifts and as your employment progresses, your skills may be extended to encompass new job role activities within the business. It is a condition of your employment that you participate in any training deemed necessary by RedWatch Security Ltd for you to reach the required levels of standard.

Previous experience is desired but not required.

SIA Licence is essential for this role.

**Pay Rate**:£9.50 - £9.75 per hour, paid on a monthly basis in line with our PAYE Scheme.

**Please note: You will be required to sit in your vehicle whilst on site**

**Salary**: £9.50-£9.75 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift

- Nottingham, NG3 5AP: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
