**Senior Systems Engineer, Windows, Azure, MS 365**

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Systems Engineer, with strength in cloud and networking technologies, to join an innovative, highly technical, and rapidly growing manufacturing company battling climate change.

**The Role**

The primary focus of this role is the resolution of 3rd line issues, plus the analysis of said issues and the recommendation of how they could be avoided in future; however, the Senior Systems Engineer is a very varied role. Working closely with a variednumber of stakeholders from across the business on a wide variety of projects, the Senior Systems Engineer needs to be able to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in where required.

With responsibilities including performing disaster recovery operations, planning, and implementing network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware, plus operating master consoles to monitor the performance of networks and computer systems,the Senior Systems Engineer is ideal for somebody looking for an exciting challenge in a fast-paced environment.

**What’s Required?**

For thisSenior Systems Engineer we are ideally looking for:

- A thorough understanding of core Microsoft Windows Server and extensive experience within a similar role
- Great experience designing, managing, and supporting cloud technologies within an enterprise environment, with Microsoft 365 and Azure being essential and certifications being a big plus
- Experience supporting Cisco Meraki would be highly desirable, especially over multiple sites
- A deep understanding of network technologies, in particular firewalls and configuration, as well as Wi-Fi in both a LAN and WAN setup, switching, routing, VLANs, 802.1x, VPNs and remote access
- Great communication skills with a flexible approach and openness to pitch in when necessary
