**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:
Purchase Ledger including supplier payments
Sales Ledger
Bank Reconciliation
VAT Return
Banking
Petty Cash and Expense management
Assisting in the updating of cash flow reports, budgets and forecasts
Provide support where required for Payroll, weekly stocktakes, as well as supporting the accountant to produce regular management accounts
**Requirements**:
Bookkeeping experience essential, ideally including both purchase and sales ledger
Knowledge of hospitality accounting practices and procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication
Great attention to detail
Able to prioritise workload
Commercial and business awareness
Proficient in Xero
Computer literate ideally with advanced knowledge of Excel
We can be flexible with working patterns but ideally we are looking for someone for around 20 hours per week to work across the working week of Monday to Friday.
Salary £12-£16 per hour.
Hours and rates negotiable and are dependent on experience.
Expected start date: ASAP
