Core aspects of the role include;
- Lead on the planning and implementation of business development and marketing activities for the EMEA regions, coordinating a joined-up approach when necessary but also working with local teams for bespoke plans for specific markets.
- Client development and relationship planning, maintain strategic oversight to the client's expectations to deliver exceptional service levels, whilst also tracking an analysing market trends to keep the firm relevant within specific markets. This will alsoinclude identifying potential new business opportunities across multiple sectors for the firm.
- Be seen internally as mentor and coach to the business development team that you are managing ensuring that the individuals are continuing to learn a develop from a personal perspective whilst also upskilling individuals to ensure first class delivery ofthe client and BD plans.
- Identify and cross sell opportunities with other global BD and client colleagues, creating a collaborative knowledge sharing environment to benefit business objectives.

Given the scope of the role we believe this opportunity would suit an experienced Legal BD professional with a real passion for the client relationship piece, you will also need to be excited about managing a global team and enjoy the people developmentside of senior management.
