Together we’re shaping and creating a cleaner, greener future for our 11 million customers who we put at the heart of everything we do. **About the Role** To assist in the delivery of expert land rights and third party consents for the delivery of all works and projects for Cadent business. Ensuring best practice, process and guidance in a manner that enhances Cadent’s reputation. **Key Accountabilities**: - To be single point of contact for all Land Service related spend (>£4m) and supplier interactions. - Manage land support team to ensure delivery of service to stakeholders. - Investigating third party payment queries, managing annual Real Estate payment process and supplier PO costs. - Engaging with both external and internal stakeholders to resolve issues relating to payment/invoice queries. - Ensuring that the appropriate governance, best practise and internal processes have been followed. - Manging the support team and landowner liaison officers with the DP/1 landowner lettering process. Ensuring that the process is followed and that letters are sent on programme. Dealing with any project level issues and reporting progress to Head of OperationalLand. - Point of contact for land support team escalations that need to be filtered to Head of Operational Land. - Manage workload from network requests for land support. - Manage YouTrack contract and licences required for stakeholders. - Responsible for overseeing the creation of purchase orders for both land and legal vendors within the central land team. - Analyse and interpret MI produced from finance to ensure receipted costs for previous months have been allocated correctly and monitoring any costs against the Land Services budget. Ensuring that Land Services team is following processes to ensure the correctallocation of costs across the business. - Manage, develop and implement MI reporting on all financial spend from the Land Services team. - Liaise closely with suppliers to close out any un-needed Purchase Orders. - Ensure the processing and receipting of all land and legal invoices is done by the team in a timely manner. - Monitor and action with rent reviews, leading on their resolution. Checking the easements/leases, agreeing simple RPI updates with third parties and issuing more complex agreements out to suppliers. - Manage and investigate all payment/invoice queries that come into the land services team, set up any new payments that are required and pay any outstanding payments following the internal governance processes. - Lead in the development of processes, systems and MI to improve efficiencies in contract management and supplier management for the team. - Responsible for monthly RERAPP approval process and resolving any queries. - Develop/maintain and manage SOPs for the Land Services admin team. - Regular liaison with suppliers to ensure that best practice and process is being followed **About You** You will possess the following skills, knowledge and qualifications: - Excellent communication skills required; - Ability to work effectively as part of a team - Preferably experienced in a lands/surveying discipline **What’s In It For You** Here at Cadent, we are committed to supporting our employees to get the best out of themselves.
