Our client, a growing consulting group based in several locations across England are looking to hire an experienced Management Accountant to provide support to the Financial Controller. Working closely with stakeholders, this role will give the chance togain good insight into a whole variety of management accounts, and carries a large amount of responsibility.

Some of your key responsibilities will be:

- Preparation of full month end management accounts - P+L and Balance Sheet
- Preparation of balance sheets, ensuring they are reconciled and ready for use in management account packs
- Bank reconciliations, pre-payments and accruals - producing account packs for review
- Analysis of key performance indicators and project performance
- Month end reporting to GFC & CFO
- Business partnering with other depts and front office sales teams
- VAT Returns
- Cash flow management - forecasting and reporting
- Assisting with Audit process
- Assisting with Budgeting process
- Assisting with Forecasting process
- Various finance admin roles where necessary including maintenance of sales/purchase ledger

Key skills
- Studying in a professional accountancy qualification
- Experience producing accounts to Trial Balance, Debtors / Creditors processing and control including Bank Reconciliations - Essential
- A superb communicator - excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all staff members
- Computer literate, with advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and good working knowledge of packages such as Outlook and Word
- Experience within an SME is desirable
- Experience dealing with international entities & multiple currencies is desirable
