**Role Overview**

We are looking for a driven and analytical individual to work closely with our team and provide a high-level client service whilst gaining exposure in different areas of accountancy and onward training/support toward the role and further qualifications. The option to join as an apprentice or continue as an apprentice is also available.
- Studying towards AAT Qualifications or equivalent (finance or accountancy degree).
- An ambitious team player.
- A courteous and polite approach.
- Desire to learn and excel within the accounting industry.
- Xero software experience is desirable.
- Previous experience in an accountancy role is desirable.
- Essential office based role.

**Responsibilities**
- Control client data and bookkeeping using Xero accounting Software.
- Prepare and submit VAT and CIS returns.
- Preparation of Personal Tax returns.
- Develop and maintain proactive working relationships with clients.
- General administration tasks.
- Support senior members of staff with year-end accounts and corporation tax returns.

**Remuneration Package & Benefits**
- £20,000 - £28,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
- 23 days holiday including your birthday as a paid holiday plus bank holidays.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: £20,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Liverpool L3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (required)

**Experience**:

- accounting: 1 year (preferred)
