An opportunity has arisen to join our dedicated Finance team on a part-time basis (25 hours per week, 0.68 FTE). The Finance team work closely together to provide financial services to the students, staff and Governors at Fareham College.

**The purpose of this role is**:
to be responsible for the accurate and timely maintenance of the College’s cash and bank records

to manage the Sales Ledger function

to generally assist the Finance Office Manager to ensure that the College’s Financial Regulations and procedures are understood and followed

**Duties will involve**:
checking and collating the daily banking

preparing collections and journals for cashbook entry

managing the Online Pay 360 data

collating course fee receipts and other income streams for journal entry

student debt management

processing payments to students, including bursaries, travel and placements

processing course refunds and payments to employers.

4 GCSE’s (or equivalent) including Maths and English at Grade C - essential

Word processing and spreadsheet skills - desirable

Excellent customer service skills - essential

Experience of dealing with queries and liaising with outside bodies - essential

Experience of using a computer accounts system - essential
