We are looking to give a proactive, adaptable, and passionate individual the opportunity to play a key role the smooth running of the finance function for the Future Fit Group.

**Role and Responsibilities**:
As the finance assistant, you will be part of a small team dealing with all aspects of the transactional finance. Reporting to the Head of Group Finance, you will assist with a wide-range of finance-related tasks, including processing invoices, maintaining accurate records and supporting day-today financial operations.

**Overview of duties**:
Accounts payable: Manage the purchase to pay cycle. Review, verify and process incoming invoices for payment. Ensure compliance with company policies. Produce bi-weekly payment proposals for review by the Head of Group Finance.

Company Credit cards: Reconcile receipts to company credit card statements, liaise with card holders to obtain missing receipts and ensure all submitted receipts are coded correctly.

Accounts Receivable: Assist with sales invoice processing and receipt allocation during peak times and to cover annual leave.

Credit control: Work with the rest of the team to ensure timely debt collection and all unpaid debts are passed to our debt management company at the earliest opportunity

Communication: Respond to queries from suppliers, students and internal stakeholders regarding payments and financial data.

**Essential Qualifications and Skills**:

- AAT Level 3 or QBE.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and financial software (Xero or similar)
- Proactive and able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Confident communicator, able to work with people and groups at all levels.
- A positive attitude and a desire to learn and grow.

Pay: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
