**Senior Software Tester**
**Horsham, West Sussex**

Senior Software Tester needed for a leading organisation based in Horsham, who are looking to employ an experienced Senior Software Tester to help establish the automated testing functions for their move to a CI/CD environment and establish a new IT Testingteam.

**Salary & Benefits**:

- Salary: c£55,000 per annum

**Some of the main duties of the Senior Software Tester**:

- Establish a new IT Testing team and ensure the team's tools, procedures, processes and tasks are carried out efficiently and to a high standard of quality
- Engage with product managers, business analysts and developers to clarify features and functionality
- Be involved in functional and non-functional testing, defect tracking and reporting to senior management
- Contribute to the Development Team's working practices and technology decisions, including process improvements.
- Create and maintain automated test solutions - Web and API
- Mentor and coach staff to maximise individual and team development, growth, competence, and succession

**In order to be the successful Senior Software Tester and have a chance to gain such an exciting opportunity you will ideally need to have the following**:

- Expertise in capturing and analysing data and documenting Test plans and tracking deliverables using Azure DevOps or similar test management tools
- Postman, SoapUI/ReadyAPI or other API-focused test automation tools
- Performance/load testing experience using LoadUI Pro or other performance testing tools
- A willingness to share knowledge and skills with developers and team; improve the quality of our products through improved testing methods and approaches
- Understanding of or experience of maintaining an API test automation framework including the ability to write/amend automated test cases written in C#. Experience with other Object Orientated languages also considered
