As the **Senior Software Test Engineer,**you will lead the software testing for both software and firmware products with test design, test planning, execution, and reporting / documentation. Champion for the automated testing environments whenthe manual-based testing environments can be avoided or minimised. Develop, maintain, and improve testing processes by actively using the latest tools and cloud-based technologies.
- To develop, maintain and execute test cases and test plans for both the software and firmware products.
- To work closely with the software and firmware team to identify changes for each product release as part of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- To develop an in-house automated testing framework by using the available off-the-shelf technologies.
- To assist the Technical Support team for identifying new issues and on-going issues.
- To lead by example for other junior software test engineers and manage other software test engineers by providing guidance and mentoring.
- To perform any other tasks requested by the manager, within the scope of this role.

To be successful in this role of **Senior Software Test Engineer** we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:

- Software Testing, Engineering or STEM related qualifications.
- Solid experience in software testing for software/firmware products.
- Solid experience in writing, preparing, and maintaining test plans, test scripts and reports.
- Techniques and experience in designing and implementing automated testing for software/firmware products.
- Knowledge / experience with Git/GitHub, and JIRA.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python for automated testing.
