**What you’ll do**:
As our Direct Merchant Solutions Lead, you’ll be accountable for delivering UK revenue growth targets in new and existing segments. This means you’ll need to shape the go-to-market strategy and market positioning to engage with our clients across different sectors while processing turnover.

Alongside identifying and implementing technologies and best practices, we’ll need you to build on our current sales successes by increasing the number of sales per sales manager. Working closely with the product team, you’ll also make sure that the roadmap delivers value for our customers.

Furthermore, you’ll be responsible for:

- Developing the strategy for the Sales Solutions team to deliver against agreed key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Driving business development while collaborating closely with other internal and external stakeholders
- Working with senior stakeholders to set and monitor KPIs that’ll drive growth, merchant satisfaction and individual and team performance while collaborating with other teams
- Leading your team to build a portfolio of clients to provide outstanding sales excellence, customer service and the highest-quality customer outcomes
- Building a strategy to increase the number of leads by working with marketing and people executives

**The skills you’ll need**:
This is a role that’ll need you to have leadership skills and an inclusive leadership style to manage your team. So, you’ll need to have a track record of building revenue in a growth business, as well as an understanding of strategic planning, delivery and how to lead sales solutions teams.

You’ll need to have a background in a sales leadership role within growth business and experience of the processes and nuances of engaging both small and large corporate clients by using the latest strategies and tools.

Additionally, you’ll need:

- Experience of analysing data to identify critical issues and to drive action accordingly
- Good internal and external stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of how to coach and mentor team members
