Youth Fed is a not for profit organisation committed to empowering young individuals through various programs and initiatives aimed at personal development, community engagement, and skill enhancement.

**Job Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
Develop, plan, and implement innovative programmes and activities that cater to the interests and needs of young people and promote personal development, foster positive values, and build essential life and employability skills.

Conduct outreach efforts to schools, colleges and other youth-focused organisations to promote programs and recruit participants.

Engage with local employers to gain their input and support for the programme to help develop relevant employability skills that match employers needs.

Build and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, including schools, youth groups, and local businesses to facilitate collaboration and support.

Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to young participants throughout program activities.

Evaluate program effectiveness by collecting feedback, monitoring participation, and assessing outcomes to make improvements.

Represent the organisation in meetings, events, and collaborations relating to the NCS Programme and wider Youth Fed initiatives.

Collaborate with the wider team and local partners.

**Requirements**:
Proven experience of working with young people.

Strong understanding of youth development principles and effective engagement strategies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with young people from diverse backgrounds.

Proficiency in programme planning, organisation, and evaluation.

Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team.

Passion for empowering and supporting the growth of young individuals.

Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends as needed for programme activities.

**Person Specification**:
Demonstrated experience in working directly with young people in a relevant setting.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Ability to plan and implement engaging youth programs effectively.

Commitment to supporting the personal and social development of young individuals.

Confident in delivering to large groups

Flexibility and willingness to work non-traditional hours when necessary.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle as travel is essential.
