**About the role**
We’ve a great opportunity to join our Workforce Optimisation Team as one of our Workforce Resource Planners to work with our Team Managers to ensure actual resourcing levels (taking variables such as holiday, absence forecast, productive time available etc.) are equal to the planned levels through ensuring rotas are in place to provide adequate cover daily/weekly/monthly for each skill set in the planning and operational teams.
You’ll be working closely with other departments to understand issues that may have an impact on resourcing levels and manage activity requests such as coaching, training, communication, one to ones and appraisals. We’re looking for you to support the team with planning, forecasting, and scheduling analysis, providing recommendations to support the operational teams to make optimum use of available resource.
We’re looking for you to manage robust planning including a long range, mid-range and short-range forecast providing the operation with a clear direction adding real value to the business and key stakeholders around demand and supply forecasting. You’ll need to understand and consider the impact of factors that may impact the performance of the planning and operational teams ensuring forecasts and resourcing are planned accordingly.
You’ll be required to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders attending meetings and ensuring information is shared, making recommendations based on data that is provided, along with communicating with other Team Managers to ensure resourcing plans are optimised and that issues are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
**About you**
So, we are looking for you to have proven experience of working in a workforce planning/scheduling team, in a fast-moving dynamic environment. It would be great if this has been in a planning or contact centre environment.
You’ll have proven excellent knowledge of planning methodologies and processes, be comfortable with Microsoft Office packages as well as advanced excel experience, Workforce Management Planning tools and a proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced working environment.
We’re looking for you to have excellent communications skills both written and verbal, along with working as part of a team and strong influencing skills, including Stakeholder management and expectation setting.
You’ll also have proven experience in improving process efficiencies and solving problems in a customer service environment.
