Service Desk Analyst

Due to ongoing growth within the Watkin Jones Group, we are now looking a Service Desk Analyst to join the organisation.
Working with a team of Service Desk Analysts and reporting directly to the Head of Group IT, you will be dealing with software and hardware enquiries, 1st Line & some 2nd line enquiries. As Service Desk Analyst you will log all calls on the service desksystem and action work orders according to service level agreement.
Your duties will also include but not be limited to:
- Escalating Service desk tickets to systems analysts or systems team as required.
- Resolving IT issues in consultation with Systems Team when necessary.
- Delivering new user IT induction training.
- Dealing with Warranty Issues and support issues with 3rd party companies.
- Ordering of consumables and dealing with general enquires.
- Discuss with IT Management on weekly basis IT support issues.
- Discuss good practice with Systems Manager\Group Head of IT to develop own role on a weekly basis.
- Support and maintenance of mobile phones with third party company.
- Support and maintenance of photocopiers with 3rd company when required.
- Monitor mobile phone assets.
- Tracking of IT equipment on asset, updating cascade system.
- Data input when required.
- Resolving Internet issues with Business ISP.
- Project work or Involvement in project work as required.
- Any other duties which may be required
**About you**
For this role we will require education/ qualifications to a level of NVQ 3, ‘A’ Level, BTEC National or equivalent qualifications or equivalent experience. You must have general knowledge of software and software setups as well as helpdesk\ service deskknowledge. We are looking to speak with individuals who have basic networking, Windows 10, Office 365, team viewer and Intune knowledge. You must have a strong attention to detail and good time management skills as well as have good communication skills bothverbally and written. Finally, you must be able to work well under pressure.
