We are looking for a **People Administrator **to join our **People Team **at our **Newton-Le-Willows Office.**
The purpose of this role is to own, manage and continually improve all administration activities across the employee lifecycle, ensuring a routine of people SOPs and processes are developed, introduced and maintained. It is also to manage and continually improve all administration activities relating to the smooth operation of the HR data system, maintaining up to date and accurate people data.
**ABOUT THE JOB**
- Accountable for day to day HR administration across the whole employee lifecycle (includes end to end recruitment process, new starter set up, pre employment checks, employment changes, absence admin e.g. maternity admin, leaver admin etc.)
- Manage the HR Inbox, responding to queries and escalating to other members of the People team where appropriate
- Identify, develop & maintain relevant processes & SOPs, maximising the value they add
- Support annual people process e.g. Reward, Talent & Appraisals
- Administer & communicate employee benefits, owning processes and relationships with providers and supporting internal communications
- Responsible for maintaining & updating key employee data, ensuring we are always ‘audit ready’
- Provide quality and accurate data reports to support insight generation and to enable the business to make sound decisions
- Support Audits across the business to ensure data accuracy and compliance
- Responsible for ensuring monthly payroll changes have appropriate approvals
- Assist with and deliver HR communications to the business
- Identify areas for continuous improvement across our systems, processes, documentation, ways of working etc.
- Build & Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business
- Ad hoc HR support to line managers & contribution to projects
- As a member of the HR Team, support employee engagement across the business
**WHAT YOU WILL NEED**
- High attention to detail, strong communication skills and proof-reading ability will be the key to success in this position.
- Able to effectively read and interpret company policy
- Strong numerical analysis skills - gathering, interpreting & presenting data insights
- Proficient management & use of a comprehensive HR Data system
- A strong administrator, preferably with HR experience across the entire employee lifecycle
- Experience of managing a HR Data system or similar (running reports, providing data insights etc.)
- Proven track record of working with stakeholders across multiple business areas
- Experience of fast moving environment
- Able to create detailed processes, SOPs & guidance documents to facilitate effective use of people processes in the business

- Have the ability to manage and co-ordinate a busy workload & prioritise your work which will come from multiple stakeholders

- Great with IT systems - you’re the expert in Excel, a whizz at Word, outstanding in Outlook, you’re skilled at SharePoint
- You're great at building relationships & able to communicate effectively at all levels
- You understand the sensitivity around HR information and operate with high confidentiality
- You're flexible and agile - able to respond to an ever changing environment
- Have a proactive mindset and are able to identify issues and opportunities to improve
