Resource Project Co-ordinator
Bristol/Harwell - hybrid role
12 month contract
£21.00/hr plus hols
Would you like to work for a prestigious client and support the resource and headcount process to ensure accurate and successful planning?
Primary Purpose of the Role:

- Headcount Analysis - Identifying the availability of engineering capability that meets the needs of the business across project delivery and bid development, including MYB targets and Pipeline
- Recruitment Co-ordination - Assists in planning for growth where skills shortages are identified, and developing Capability Growth Plan for the medium to long term for the UK
- Database Management & Reporting - Consolidate reporting streams and share best practices internally and reporting within the joint venture
Principal Relationships:

- UK OFP Manager
- HR & ecruitment functionr
- Department Managers (Engineering Managers, Quality, Commercial, Supplier Operations etc)
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
The resource ‘supply’ relationship
- Analyse Resource Capacity against internal demand from the project, bid, BD and other budgets
- Identifies excess capacity and skills shortages, working with department managers on internal transfers
- Work with Financial Overhead Controller in planning MYB requirements based on predicted headcount growth
Support ongoing business needs
- Future growth analysis for Real Estate scenarios.
- Reporting into and for the Senior Leadership Team (helping to scope out realistic scenarios for interns / apprentices / grads from a longer term resourcing needs perspective.
- Develop and formalise existing processes, create & maintain databases and reports
Key performance Indicators against Responsibilities and Tasks:

- Accurate resourcing profile balanced against the workload profile and aligned to department headcount growth plans and MYB
- On-time delivery of data capture and internal reports
- Continuous business improvements through strategic goals & enablers as well as ad-hoc support to new initiatives.
From time to time the job holder will be required to undertake additional duties that are consistent with the nature of this position.

Educated to A Level standard
Strong communication skills. Uses influencing skills to obtain information in a pressured working environment

Strong organisational skills. Rigorous review procedures to enable responses to changing resource needs
Shows resilience and determination in a working environment with many concurrent activities
Strong business analysis and reporting capability
Strong MS Office (Excel)
Desirable
Knowledge of and experience in project management in an engineering or technical environment
The role requires fluency in English
