**DETAILS**:
**Finance Administrator / Insurance Operations Accounts Assistant** who has worked with an accountancy / finance and / or insurance industry within an administrative and / or credit control capacity is required for a well-established Insurance Company.

We have two positions available. One more finance / General Ledger / Accounts based and the other more Credit Control based. Once shortlisted we will discuss which position you would prefer to be put forward to.

**JOB OVERVIEW**

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Finance Administrator / Insurance Operations Accounts Assistant who has a high attention to detail, experience using Microsoft Office including Excel and who is highly organised with excellent written and verbalcommunication skills.

Working as the Finance Administrator / Insurance Operations Accounts Assistant your main objective is to ensure data entered onto the system (Websure) is accurate and up to date, ensuring there is sufficient reporting available to meet accounting and otherreporting requirements both internally and externally.

As the Finance Administrator / Insurance Operations Accounts Assistant you will support global entities based in the UK, Miami and France. You will also support credit control to collect insurance premiums from Brokers to drive down outstanding debts andin turn being able to pass premiums through to the carriers.

Being part of a Finance and Operations Team will give you some great exposure to underwriting processes and how they impact to the financials of the business.

**DUTIES**

Your duties as the Finance Administrator / Insurance Operations Accounts Assistant include:

- Assist the service company accountants with the internal and external reporting
- Assist with the annual audit. Ensuring reporting to the company’s system (Websure) is accurate and agreed to the General Ledger / reported numbers
- Production of reconciliations of accounts, including posting transactions
- Assist and lead remediation projects based on Finance reconciliations
- Assist with the chasing of debts from external Brokers
- Liaise with internal and external Brokers and carriers to agree balances
- Assist the Service Company Accountants or Head of Finance Operations with any adhoc tasks

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**
- Experience in the insurance industry or finance role
- Can maintain excellent attention to detail
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure
- Innovative and open minded in approaching issues and determining Solutions
- Confident communicator who builds good relationships across the Business
- Self-motivated working as a team and individually
- Ability to travel to various offices

- Spanish speaking
- French speaking
- Experience of Oracle General Ledger
- Proven track record of innovation and process development
- Experience of using Websure platforms
- Credit control experience
