This could be just the role for you if you have hands on relevantexperience, your CIPD or relevant degree or are working towards it and want the autonomy to lead the development of a Strategic People Plan for an aligned business area within Ardonagh Advisory.

Joining a friendly and supportive team, you will report into the Head of HR to ensure our plans are aligned to the overall business strategy and objectives. You’ll be someone who thrives in partnering with Executive leaders and can influence and steer strategy,drive change to develop people capability and deliver on our plans to support Ardonagh Advisory’s People commitments. We are an acquisition led business and have exciting growth plans so change will be a constant part of our future.

**Key responsibilities**

As an experienced HR Business Partner you will provide coaching to draw out innovations in work processes and organisational design with a view of improving the business’s overall efficiencies. Offering guidance and input on strategic workforce planning,leading on the internal succession planning process to ensure achievable plans are in place to create a pipeline of talent and organisational capability across Advisory.

You will also be comfortable utilising MI to identify areas for continuous improvement, provide insightful analysis to enable effective people, cost and risk management and working in collaboration with our HR Centres of Excellence, ensure that any initiativesare successfully embedded into the business.

**Key requirements for the HR Business Partner**:

- As well as the relevant experience and qualifications you will have commercial and financial awareness e.g., understanding of the external market, how the balance sheet works, company performance, market intelligence, business drivers, etc
- Relationship management skills are essential, including negotiation, contracting, consultancy, facilitation, influencing and presentation skills
- You’ll think and act strategically and have the ability to coach senior leaders to enhance culture as well as having the resilience to manage difficult discussions
- As a growing business, experience of managing organisational change e.g., mergers and acquisitions, integration programmes, change management and organisational design and TUPE would be an advantage.
