**Your New Job Title: Mandarin speaking HR Generalist**

**Your New Salary: £40-70k (depending on experience)**

**Location: Central London**

**Job status: 1 Year Fixed-Term Contract, with possibility to transfer to Permanent**

**Report to: General Manager of HR**

**Summary**:
To provide a generalist HR advisory service, liaison with HQ, and support to branch offices, working together with the Department Head.

**What You'll be Doing Each Day**:
**HR Generalist**
- Expats management, including assignment, appraisal, promotion, etc. Ensure all Secondee HR Administrative tasks are up to date.
- HQ and branch offices Liaison. Obtain necessary HQ approvals on behalf of Local HR and Senior Management.
- Translation of reports and documents to be submitted to HQ or that are received from HQ requiring local action. Provide HQ with relevant information within the parameters permitted under the GDPR.
- Follow the annual headcount review process, produce the Headcount report for the CEO to be submitted to HQ.

**Recruitment**
- Support the recruitment of new employees where necessary.

**Training**
- Develop annual training plan and implement.
- Provide employees with support on the training request process including post-training follow up.

**Secondees Visa**
- Ensure all Right to Work documentation is obtained by local HR for new arrivals from HQ and ensure all tracked and recorded in line with local processes to fulfil UK legislative requirements.

**Projects**
- Provide support on wider HR projects as appropriate.

**The Skills You'll Need to Succeed**:

- Fluent in spoken and written Mandarin and English
- University Degree or above
- HR experience in Professional services / Financial Services / Corporate environment in the UK
- Familiar with HR Systems
- Experience of managing stakeholders
- Experience of facilitating business change
- Full generalist remit
- Strong attention to detail; Numeracy
- Strong interpersonal skills; negotiating and influencing skills
- Resourcefulness with ability to use own initiative
- Ability to engage / communicate with all levels of employees
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good team worker
