Accounts Payable Supervisor

**About the role**:
****An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing, sustainable and global company. We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to work in a small but growing finance team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about building and improving P2P processes and wants to take a hands on position whilst supporting 1 other team member. Reporting into the UK Financial Controller, this is a great opportunity for someone who cares about process improvement and wants to get stuck in to the day to day invoicing function of a busy finance department.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage monthly closing of financial records and posting of month end information, ensuring accuracy
- Ensuring the timely processing of invoices and payment runs
- Getting involved in the actual processing of invoices (rolling up your sleeves)
- Raising awareness among the business of AP best practices
- Inspirationally managing the team against personal objectives
- Act as point of escalation and support for the AP team
- Develop, review and manage KPIs on a monthly/quarterly basis, identifying areas of improvement and working on implementing change to improve these

**Requirements**:

- 3-5 years experience working within Accounts Payable
- Experience in management (indirect mentoring/coaching is also fine with us)
- Have proven ability of working to SLA’s and deadlines
- Stakeholder management experience
