Client Services Specialist

Our client is a well-known Investment management firm looking to hire a client services specialist to support sales in managing client relationships. Specifically, they are looking for someone with experience handling institutional or wholesale clients.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Broaden relationships with existing clients. Support Sales in strategy planning and growth opportunities.
- Deal with client enquiries and complex client issues related to products, processes or services.
- Handle client activities on a proactive and reactive basis including supporting sales initiatives, new product launches and change management.
- Facilitate and support client meetings. Take responsibility for relationship management activities and act as a mentor to other team members covering junior RM activities.
- Act as an SME/VOC on internal projects to improve infrastructure, services, digital strategy, cost to serve or reporting and improving how we conduct business and what we offer to our clients.
- Provide key team statistics to the team manager, identifies team service issues and works to resolve them.
- Coache junior staff to support Crew development, technical skills improvements and provides experience on approaches to client issues.
- Works on new business development initiatives including providing responses to RFPs and sales queries.
**Qualifications**
- Minimum of ten years financial services experience. Five years’ experience in Client Services strongly preferred.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Industry qualifications; IMC, CFA level 1 or more would be highly preferred.
- Evidence of having worked with large/complex clients.
- Team leader or mentoring experience highly valued
- Project management skills.
- Understanding of client legal agreements.
- Experience of Wholesale client models.
