As we continue to grow, we are looking for HGV Drainage Operatives to join our busy team in undertaking pre planned and emergency works. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is actively seeking progression, if you are looking for a long-term career then this could be a great place to start.

**Salary**

Expect a basic salary of £29,120 with excellent earning potential, after overtime, in excess of £42,000k. This basic hourly rate equates to £14.00 per hour with overtime paid at time and a half and/or double time accordingly.

You will be operating various equipment and HGV vehicles for a wide range of drain-related issues from emergency call-outs and blockages, to cleaning pipes during regular maintenance programs, Pump Stations, Gully Cleansing, Interceptors, HPWJ and all other general HGV drainage works.

**Skills & Knowledge Requirements**
- CSCS, HPWJ, Confined Space, EUSR Water Hygiene, NRASW Signing, Lighting & Guarding, are desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
- Must have an HGV Class 2 Licence, complete with relevant CPC units and no more than 3 points
- Must be well organized and have a positive can-do attitude
- Be able to work as part of a team
- You will visit various types of clients and sites, from commercial, residential, and industrial therefore it is essential you are able to communicate effectively and politely with customers and colleagues throughout the business
- Willing to undertake training and development as appropriate
- Be able to work using your own initiative
- Must operate in accordance with our H&S and Quality Procedures

**Essential Requirements**
- Must have up to date CPC (although full training can be provided)
- Must be flexible as you will be required to carry out a reasonable amount of overtime
- Be willing to work nights, weekends and early starts as we operative 24/7

**Additional Information**
- We offer a competitive salary dependent upon skills and experience.
- The company operates an on-call Rota which the applicant will be expected to work on (approximately one week in six)
