Due to our continued success, we’ve secured several long-term contracts and are now expanding our team.

**The Opportunity**
We are currently seeking Trainee Drainage Operatives to join our dynamic and growing team. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn and advance in their careers. Working alongside experienced team leaders, you’ll gain hands-on experience in both planned and emergency drainage work. **Salary & Benefits**
- **Starting Salary**: £23,920 per annum
- **Earning Potential**: With overtime, your earnings could exceed £45,000 annually
- **Hourly Rate**: £11.50 per hour, with overtime paid at time and a half or double time

**Responsibilities**:
As a Trainee Drainage Operative, you will:

- Operate various equipment and vehicles to address a wide range of drainage issues, including emergency call-outs, blockages, and routine maintenance.
- Conduct CCTV surveys, repairs, reinstating, and high-pressure water jetting (HPWJ).
- Perform general drainage works as required.

**Skills & Knowledge Requirements**
- **Desirable (but not essential)**: CSCS, HPWJ, Confined Space, EUSR Water Hygiene, NRASW Signing, Lighting & Guarding. Full training will be provided.
- Strong organizational skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with a variety of clients and colleagues.
- Willingness to undergo relevant training and development.
- Ability to work independently while adhering to Health & Safety and Quality Procedures.

**Essential Requirements**
- A full UK driving license (ideally with no more than 3 points).
- Flexibility to work overtime, including nights, weekends, and early mornings as we operate 24/7.

**Additional Information**
- Competitive salary based on skills and experience.
- Participation in an on-call rota (approximately one week in six).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Plumbing: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CSCS (preferred)

- Driving Licence (required)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Durham, DL14 6XD
