We are currently seeking Trainee Drainage Operatives to join our dynamic and growing team. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn and advance in their careers. **Important Considerations**
- This is a physically demanding role with long hours, often requiring early mornings, late nights, and weekend shifts. If you are not fully prepared to commit to the necessary working hours, this may not be the right position for you.
- The role involves working at various locations across the UK, not just locally. You must be willing to travel and stay away from home.

**Salary & Benefits**
- **Starting Salary**: £23,920 per annum
- **Earning Potential**: With overtime, your earnings could exceed £45,000 annually
- **Hourly Rate**: £11.50 per hour, with overtime paid at time and a half or double time

**Responsibilities**:
As a Trainee Drainage Operative, you will:

- Operate various equipment and vehicles to address a wide range of drainage issues, including emergency call-outs, blockages, and routine maintenance.
- Conduct CCTV surveys, repairs, reinstating, and high-pressure water jetting (HPWJ).
- Perform general drainage works as required.

**Skills & Knowledge Requirements**
- **Desirable (but not essential)**: CSCS, HPWJ, Confined Space, EUSR Water Hygiene, NRASW Signing, Lighting & Guarding. Full training will be provided.
- Strong organizational skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with a variety of clients and colleagues.
- Willingness to undergo relevant training and development.
- Ability to work independently while adhering to Health & Safety and Quality Procedures.

**Essential Requirements**
- A full UK driving license (ideally with no more than 3 points).
- Flexibility to work overtime, including nights, weekends, and early mornings as we operate 24/7.
- Willingness to travel and work at sites across the UK.

**Additional Information**
- Competitive salary based on skills and experience.
- Participation in an on-call rota (approximately one week in six).
