**Job Summary**

**Hours - 07:15 to 16:30, Week 1 Monday - Friday, Week 2 Monday - Thursday.**

**Salary - £28,000 - £30,000 dependent on skills and experience.**

In conjunction with the Workload and Resource Planner, and in the absence of the same, key responsibilities include assisting in the analysing of workflow processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing scheduling strategies that enhance efficiency.

You will also be responsible for updating schedules as needed and communicating changes to relevant stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**

Assist in the development and maintenance of detailed work schedules.

Coordinate with departments to gather workload and resource data.

Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts or delays.

Communicate schedule updates to stakeholders.

Assist with the analysis of workflow processes for efficiency improvements.

Ensure optimal use of personnel and resources.

Track progress and report on key performance indicators.

Support Workload and Resource Planner in day to day operational issues.

Maintain accurate records of schedules and changes.

Liaise with Customer Service Admin on a daily basis.

Management of Logistics Operatives.

Ongoing management of individual and team performance;
Daily management and resolution of minor conflicts with escalation to Senior Contract Delivery Manager r and involvement in more formal processes as required;
Absence management for team including booking annual leave, recording sickness and conducting RTWs;
Work in conjunction with the Senior Contract Delivery Manager to manage the resourcing of your team;
Identification and Implementation of training and development needs of your team.

Supervise the co-ordination of all mail handling operations within site, including receiving, sorting, and distributing all incoming and internal mail, and despatching all outgoing mail.

Supervise the coordination of all accommodation / furniture moves (IT, furniture and large non furniture assets such as lab equipment) as scheduled in daily programme of work.

Supervise the collection, receipt and onward delivery of SPF (specials) mail and other courier items as appropriate (DCS and classified).

Maintain the records of all classified and SPF mail and ensure necessary documentation is archived for AWE according to the correct procedures.

Supervise the co-ordination of the delivery and collection analytical samples (including but not limited to, used and un-used air samples, urine and faecal samples), calibration equipment and other miscellaneous items to and from multiple site locations

Supervise the collection and delivery of internal move requests.

Supervise the collection of items for offsite distribution via CTS / third party courier service.

Ensure all data for post, internal moves, despatches, bioassay, air handling and calibration is collated for dashboard reporting against client KPI’s.

Ensure the safe operation of forklift, electric reach and hand operated pallet trucks and tail-lift vehicles, vans, and stair walkers to ensure that all operatives are appropriately trained to perform the range of their duties.

Supervise the team to deliver excellent customer service and ensure operational problems are dealt with in a timely fashion and communicated to appropriate levels of management.

Close out internal moves, despatches, water, bioassay, air handling and calibration on the AWE business system.

Supervise and oversee the efficiency of Warehouse Management System.

Oversee and train the logistics operatives in the use of the CTS in house PDA system.

Track and trace all missing items when requested by the client and liaise with CTS warehouse staff.

Maintain the onsite warehouse to high standards with regard to both cleanliness and safety.

Ensure logistics operatives are well presented (in correct uniform at all times) and properly equipped for the purpose of the role.

Maintain database of tools and equipment.

Support the Workload and Resource Planner with data gathering for monthly performance review

Manage the workflow of the warehouse on the client site.

Answer all calls in a timely manner

Adhere to KPIs, SOPs and SLAs.

**Safety Responsibilities**

Supervise the above activities in a way such as to maintain, as far as is reasonably practicable the health, safety and welfare of all personnel and to safeguard the condition of the environment as required by the customer.

Undertake and supervise the safe operation of manual handling equipment: forklift, electric reach, cabinet lifters, stair walkers hand operated pallet trucks and vehicles with tail-lifts.

Supervise the undertaking of safe and secure vehicle operation:
Daily DfT vehicle defect checks, including MHE visual checks;
Loading / securing of freight on vehicle;
Vehicle cleanliness;
Security of vehicle and load (adhere to Vehicle Panic Alarm procedure);
Associated paperwork (timesheets, vehicle check sheets etc).
