**Job Summary**
**Hours - 07:15 to 16:30, Week 1 Monday - Friday, Week 2 Monday - Thursday.**
**Salary - £35,000 - £38,000 dependent on skills and experience.**
Responsible for developing, maintaining and optimising work schedules and resource allocation to ensure smooth operations and timely project completion. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
As a Workload and Resource Planner you will collaborate with various departments, including Operations, Logistics to gather information on workload, deadlines and resource availability. You will use this data to create efficient work plans that align with organisational goals and client expectations. Your ability to anticipate potential bottlenecks and adjust plans accordingly will be critical to maintaining productivity and meeting deadlines.
To succeed in this role, you should have extensive experience with all MS tools, a solid understanding of project management principles, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A background in operations, logistics, or project coordination is highly desirable.
**Duties**
Key responsibilities include analysing workflow processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing scheduling strategies that enhance efficiency. You will also be responsible for monitoring progress, updating schedules as needed, and communicating changes to relevant stakeholders. The Workload and Resource Planner plays a vital role in ensuring that teams are well-coordinated and that resources are used effectively.
**Responsibilities**
Develop and maintain detailed work schedules
Coordinate with departments to gather workload and resource data
Monitor project timelines and adjust plans as needed
Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts or delays
Communicate schedule updates to stakeholders
Analyse workflow processes for efficiency improvements
Ensure optimal use of personnel and resources
Track progress and report on key performance indicators
Support project managers with planning and logistics
Maintain accurate records of schedules and changes
Liaise with Customer Service Admin on a daily basis
Management of Logistics Operatives
Weekly meetings with Workload and Resource Coordinator to ensure CTS is meeting the client needs.
Support with monthly mangemange meetings
Oversee the management of the workflow of the warehouse on the client site.
To build strong relationships and to work collaboratively with both client and CTS employees across all client and CTS sites.
Undertake any other duties as may be required by Management commensurate with the responsibilities of the job or the requirements of the business.

Ensure that all staff adhere to KPIs, SOPs and SLAs.
Oversee the management of the Logistics Operatives team
Oversee the management of the supervision of the co-ordination of all mail handling operations within site, including receiving, sorting, and distributing all incoming and internal mail, and despatching all outgoing mail.
Oversee the coordination of all accommodation / furniture moves (IT, furniture and large non furniture assets such as lab equipment) as scheduled in daily programme of work.
Oversee the management of the collection, receipt and onward delivery of SPF (specials) mail and other courier items as appropriate (DCS and classified).
Oversee the management of the maintenance of records of all classified and SPF mail and ensure necessary documentation is archived for AWE according to the correct procedures.
Oversee the management of the co-ordination of the delivery and collection analytical samples (including but not limited to, used and un-used air samples, urine and faecal samples), calibration equipment and other miscellaneous items to and from multiple site locations.
Oversee the management of the collection and delivery of internal move requests.
Oversee the management of the collection of items for offsite distribution via CTS / third party courier service.
Oversee the management of all data for post, internal moves, despatches, bioassay, air handling and calibration to ensure it is collated for dashboard reporting against client KPI’s.
Oversee the safe operation of forklift, electric reach and hand operated pallet trucks and tail-lift vehicles, vans, and stair walkers to ensure that all operatives are appropriately trained to perform the range of their duties.
Manage the team to deliver excellent customer service and ensure operational problems are dealt with in a timely fashion and communicated to appropriate levels of management.
Oversee the management of the close out internal moves, despatches, water, bioassay, air handling and calibration on the AWE business system.
