Job summary
Amazon Music’s Artist Marketing team amplifies artist participation and advocacy across joint marketing projects for Amazon Music. We partner with priority artists on high-visibility and cultural impactful initiatives, connecting artists, fans and Amazon Music in exciting ways. Amazon Music Twitch Livestreaming is a global team producing music-first content for fans around the world on our Twitch channels. We are a group of passionate music fans who create and market artist content on Twitch, aiming to give artists an entry into Twitch and give fans outstanding live content. To lead our livestreaming initiatives in Europe, we are looking for an experienced, creative, analytical and results-oriented Head of EU Livestreaming.
Please note this role can be based in the UK (London) or Germany (Munich or Berlin).
Key job responsibilities
- Own the strategy and execution for our European content, managing a team of local (UK, DE, IT, ES) channel managers and producers
- Own budget and planning, programming and marketing for our European Twitch team, and evolve the business case and monetization options, including sponsorships
- You will foster and grow our relationships with the music industry, with the Twitch org and with other internal and external stakeholders
- Excel at devising, influencing and articulating strategic direction; leading a highly motivated international team of creatives; and fostering a “think big” team mentality while building processes to drive efficiency in communication, coordination, production and marketing
- A passionate advocate for our customers (for us, both artists and fans are customers)
- Proficient oral and written communication skills; ability to present business data and goals to various business stakeholders - from senior leaders to on-the-ground teams
- Ability to influence through dotted-line management, collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to think and lead in fast and ambiguous environments
- Ability to manage time and juggle multiple priorities to execute high quality deliverables
- Demonstrated ability to develop, communicate and drive strategy for a new business area
- Familiarity with Twitch content, landscape and advertising products
- Live production experience, in any entertainment vertical
- Livestreaming is a high-growth area, be comfortable with ambiguity, as well as flexible and proactive with changes in the industry
