**About the job**:
Are you passionate about supply chain and logistics? We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to join our fast-paced team. In this role, you will oversee the administrative and operational aspects of supply chain and logistics, ensuring smooth transport, stock management, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage DCS Chep Account and pallet transactions
- Book stock onto the WMS and run outstore stock comparisons
- Plan and coordinate transport activities, liaising with hauliers and customers
- Process and verify haulier invoices, investigating discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with GDP and conduct shipping temperature checks
- Coordinate with the warehouse team for order processing and dispatch
- Process orders through WMS and external parcel carrier portals
- Maintain and update key reports, including dashboards and volume profiles
- Spot check orders to ensure accuracy and customer compliance
- Raise and investigate Quality Incident Reports (QIRs)
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and health & safety regulations
- Manage outstanding returns, uplifts, and driver discrepancies
Key Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse administration (preferred)
- Experience in FMCG environment (desirable)
- Strong knowledge of supply chain and logistics operations
- Excellent problem-solving, prioritisation, and time management skills
- Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Customer-focused approach and adaptability to fast-changing demands
- Good geographical knowledge of the UK and Ireland
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, WMS, Sage X3, and external portals
