Our finance office based in Thame is where everything finance related for Guncast Swimming Pools & Drom UK takes place & we are looking for a Finance Assistant to assist the team through a busy year end and audit. The position will require you to work through December & January without taking annual leave (Apart from Bank Holidays).

**Fixed term for 6 months - Part Time - 25hrs a week over 5 days - Mon - Fri. Salary £30k FTE.**

**KEY ACTIVITIES**:
**Assist the finance department**:

- With the reconciliation and budget of employee expenses and company credit cards, chasing up employees to submit these by our short deadlines
- Matching supplier Invoices to the purchase orders in Simpro, making sure delivery tickets are received & coding invoices correctly. Chasing up delivery tickets from engineers & project managers
- Creating retrospective purchase order for purchasing card invoices for budget tracking & reporting
- Transferring approved supplier invoices and credit notes from Dext system into finance programme Xero
- Reconciliation of supplier accounts to monthly statements
- Housekeeping of the data in the various programmes used in finance

**Generally assist the finance team with the day to day operation of finance department including**:

- Day to day smooth running of the finance office
- Reconciliation between finance system and SimPRO
- Assisting with stock valuations and accuracy of reporting and year end stock take
- Along with the team keep the office clean and tidy
- Assisting with year end & the annual audit
- Provide holiday cover for the other finance staff
- Any ad-hoc duties as required.
- We have an unmanned warehouse downstairs so some ad hoc duties including accepting deliveries and arranging stock collections may be required.

**Key qualifications, skills and experience**
- Systems - Xero, Dext, SimPRO, Excel, Word, Google sheets and Online Banking
- Knowledge of Nominal Ledger & VAT Rates
- Ability to communicate detailed and accurate information
- Excellent Attention to detail
- Build good working relationships with other parties both internal and external
- Construction industry experience preferable
- A can do attitude to I.T. and I.T. Systems

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: £30,000.00 per year
