We are currently recruiting for two Curriculum & Office Administrators, required to work for an establishment based in Dunstable, one position is a full time permanent role, and the second position is a full time maternity (9 - 12 months). The working hoursare Monday to Friday, 08:30am to 17:00pm.

**Purpose of the role**:

- To support the administrative work of the Learning Area Managers and curriculum teams for the benefit of the students.
- To ensure that all learners, and internal and external customers receive excellent customer care.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Team work - To work effectively as part of a team to provide a comprehensive administrative service.
- Contribute to the design, planning and delivery of the administrative system to support various needs.
- Support teams within Student Services when required and the learning resource centre, welfare, student help desk, enquires and, admissions and enrolments.
- Provide excellent customer service and professionally represent the establishment.
- Knowledge of using Microsoft Word/Excel mail merge to producing large quantities of letters and labels.
- Completing learner references requested by employers and recruitment companies.
- Answering the telephone and processing messages.
- Supporting learning areas by responding to general enquiries.
- Raising purchase orders for curriculum resources and services, requesting supplier information and liaising with the finance department to arrange payment of invoices.
- Taking minutes during various meetings.
- Working with tutors to coordinate and arrange student day/residential trips.
- Coordinating transport arrangements for students, staff and external customers when required.
- Completing high volumes of printing, scanning, photocopying, laminating and filing.
- Carry out all duties in regards to equality, opportunity and confidentiality with confidence and fairness.
- Ensure you meet all necessary Health and Safety responsibilities and duties.
- Carry out any other duties as required by your line manager.

**Skills/Experience required**:

- A strong understanding of MS Office Programmes, including Excel.
- Previous admin/office based experience.
- Ability to handle sensitive data.
- Possess the skills to multi task.
- Excellent customer service skills.
