We are recruiting for an Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) specifically focusing on health and social care to join our growing quality team. In the role you will support our Development Coaches to deliver a range of both standard and diploma-based health and social care qualifications from levels 2-5 including functional skills, as well as integrating technology-based delivery into health and social care qualifications.

You will be responsible for monitoring assessment judgements, Development Coaches' knowledge and the standard of processes and procedures. This will ensure robust internal quality assurance and best practice processes are in place and followed consistently, in turn meaning learners can achieve their qualifications, that assessment decisions are correct, and that the service provided by our organisation is of high-quality.

As someone with experience and knowledge of delivering health and social care qualifications including gateway and EPA and carrying out IQA to a high standard across a range of provision within the health and social care sectors, you will be expected to support curriculum leads to develop curriculum content using sector knowledge in line with regional and national skills requirements.

As an IQA at Impact Futures and The Childcare Company, you will join a team of dedicated professionals providing apprentices and qualifications to learners in a range of sectors across England. **Role responsibilities may include**:

- Planning, conducting and recording sampling activities and supporting sessions to ensure the ongoing development of the Development Coaches and monitoring IAG standards within delivery and implement strategies for enhancement of our career’s advice and guidance. The role will also involve working with Development Coaches to ensure planning and delivery promotes inclusivity and accessibility for blended learning environments and continuous improvements from quality assurance activities
- Working with Quality Managers to ensure that the business has full approval to deliver health and social care qualifications across all contracts, through the implementation and monitoring of highly effective internal quality assurance processes and systems
- Supporting the Quality Managers with awarding organisation external quality assurance visits for all health and social care qualifications, and ensuring timely remedial action is taken for any actions given to remain sanction free
- Carrying out observation of teaching, learning, and assessment in line with Ofsted ‘s Education Inspection Framework and internal quality assurance practices
- Ensuring that effective monitoring of examinations is conducted in line with awarding organisation requirements. You will also monitor management information to identify learners at risk of not achieving on time and ensure that appropriate and timely actions are implemented to support achievement
- Using an electronic portfolio system to record support and interventions which will maintain learner information, ensuring the quality and integrity of data in line with contractual requirements and GDPR
- Continually developing expertise in EPA with the wider quality team to ensure that health and social care Development Coaches can fully prepare each learner for their learning journey to achieve the highest possible outcome for each learner and their employer
- Contributing to the company SAR in collaboration with other business units
- Monitoring key performance data to identify achievement gaps, performance measures, and intervention requirements across a team of development coaches

**About you**:**You will**:

- Have experience and knowledge of delivering functional skills to level 2
- Possess a D32/33/A1/CAVA or equivalent and a IQA/V1 or equivalent
- Possess at least a PTLLS/AiET or teaching qualification and a level 2 or equivalent in functional skills maths and English
- Have experience in developing resources to support delivery
- Have demonstrable experience in teaching, learning and assessment role, delivering a range of provisions within the health and social care sector and up to a minimum of level 5 within adult/further education and apprenticeships and/or management and leadership-based qualifications
- Have good time management and multitasking skills
- Have working knowledge of all relevant legislation
- Access to a reliable internet connection at home
- Have good IT knowledge (including all Microsoft packages)
