An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to perform the day-to-day responsibilities alongside a small team for a newly built 64,000 bird free range egg production site. We are seeking a Part time worker for an approximately 28hrs average week. Considerations for full time work will be given based on experience.

~Previous poultry experience is preferred but not essential.

~Fully supported training will be given and taken along a journey to gain further skills and experience.

~Pig work on our state of the art 2,000 head finisher unit

~Tractor work on modern JCB Fastracs

~Cattle work

~All other aspects of general jobs from site ground keeping to maintence.

The more responsibilities & skills gained will be recognized and the wage rate will increase accordingly. The more you put in the more you get rewarded

The newly built facility is state-of-the-art, using the latest equipment to ensure high levels of bird welfare and efficiency. All kept to the highest standard, as site pride is important and a key attribute.

~The egg collection and packing system is fully automated, just grading is required.

~There will be access to a fully kitted out kitchen and seating where meals can be made and hot drinks enjoyed during breaks.

~Underfloor heated bathroom where a shower and toilets are available where the option can be given to change clothes and shower on/off site.

~Access to an onsite washing machine where overalls and gloves are washed daily.

~PPE is provided

Mason Farming offer competitive rates and benefits, which will be reviewed regularly to reflect both individual and flock performance.

~End of flock bonuses are also guaranteed and rates vary on personal & flock performance.

~The starter wage during the induction period is well above minimum wage and will increase once skills and experiences have been gained.

Site Location: Yorkshire Wolds, YO17. NO farm accommodation is available currently.
