**Position**: Packing Operator - Pack House Department

**Location**: B+F Potatoes Ltd. Glebe Farm ,Butterwick, Weaverthorpe, Malton YO17 8HF

**Experience**: Previous experience in a factory or warehouse is desirable but not essential as we value a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

**Salary**: Negotiable ( Based on experience and proficiency)

**Role and Responsibilities**:
As a Packing Operator, you'll be an essential part of our production process. Your main responsibilities will include:

- Starting up, controlling, adjusting, and cleaning machines on automatic production lines (e.g., Robot Palletising Machine).
- Conducting visual quality inspections to ensure potatoes meet company standards.
- Assisting in sorting and grading potatoes, ensuring only high-quality produce is packed.
- Hand-packing and lifting potato sacks may be required, from 2kg up to the heaviest weight of 25kg.
- Accurately documenting quality inspection results on production paperwork.
- Performing routine pre-start H&S checks on equipment and the workspace.
- Ensuring all work areas are kept clean and adhere to safety protocols.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth production flow.

- Flexibility to switch between tasks and departments as needed.
- Strong work ethic and reliability are highly valued especially during the busy potato lifting season where willingness for overtime is greatly rewarded.

Having your own transportation is a requirement due to the site location, complimentary on-site parking facility is provided.
