**A Service Desk Engineer is required to join our successful and busy Delivery Services team, offered on a partly remote (UK) basis.**
The key skills and experience required are to act as the first point of contact for all customers, assisting and managing IT issues & service requests.
**Role Requirements**:

- Ability to work within a virtual team to achieve a customer centric outcome.
- Solutions driven, confident and friendly approach in dealing with customers.
- Excellent standard of written and spoken English.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Keen interest in, and passionate about IT.
- Able to adapt and use the right blend of appropriate methodologies in order to match the needs of the customer, the business drivers, the timescales and the project itself.

**Skills**
- Prior experience in a customer facing managed service role.
- In-depth technical knowledge of current and emerging IT technologies including cloud.
- Worked with an enterprise managed cloud provider.
- Intermediate level user in Microsoft packages especially in Word, Power Point and Excel.
- Experience of backup technologies - configuring and restoring.
- Basic networking knowledge - firewalls, LAN configuration, troubleshooting, etc.
- Minimum A level or equivalent in IT, Computer Science or similar discipline or proven equivalent working experience.
- Full UK Driving License.
- Ability to obtain Security Clearance and Non-Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV3)

**Benefits**:

- Salary of up to £30kpa depending on experience
- An allowance of up to £1,500 per employee for devices. The devices are yours to keep and the £1500 allowance is refreshed every 3 years.
- 33 days holiday (25 days holiday entitlement + 8 days bank holiday which you can take whenever you like)
- An all-expenses paid trip with an overnight stay with colleagues offsite a minimum of 3 times per year
- Training budget of £500 per year
- Pension scheme in line with Automatic Enrolment legislation
- Holiday roll over and buy back (once the statutory minimum of 28 days per year has been used)
- Paid overtime and Time Off in Lieu
