Employer description:The Service Team at Vizst Technology is responsible for supporting and maintaining clients ITsystems and for providing efficient desktop support to all business users. The team is responsible forresolving any IT-related faults quickly and efficiently in-line with SLAs which includes a broad range ofqueries.Responsibilities:Providing end-user desktop supportSupporting and maintaining MS server/desktops and macs and supporting and maintaining Office 365 solutions and G Suite solutionsSetting up and configuring new laptops and desktops. Also installing authorised software to laptops and desktopsEnsuring security and upgrades are applied to desktops and laptops and kept up to date. Whilst troubleshoot desktop and system problems diagnose and solve hardware/softwareincidents/problemsIncident and problem managementProvide exceptional service support to the businessProvide solutions/work arounds to incidents and problems and contribute to polices processes and proceduresInstall maintain and support new applicationsDesirable skills:Understanding of ITIL frameworkGood organisational time management and prioritisation skillsStrong written and verbal skills and the ability to produce clear and accurate documentation(Word Excel PowerPoint)The ability to communicate confidently and clearly to customers both face to face and over thetelephoneWillingness to travel as required to other company sites for the purpose of onsite supportExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentWorks within the team and assists others where required to achieve a common goalWorks proactively to resolve issuesProcess driven and organised / attention to detail with a strong ability to prioritise workloadRemains calm and clear headed under pressureExcellent organisational and prioritisation skillsEntry requirements:3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4 (A-C) in any subjectGCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3 (D or above)Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subjectYou may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the this instance you could still be considered for the programme.If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.For more information please visit the UK ENIC website.
