IT Portfolio Manager

**IT Portfolio Manager based at Epworth House, Derby**

**Permanent - Full Time - 37 hours per week.**

**About the role**

As IT Portfolio Manager you will be responsible for portfolio management arrangements and capabilities across the IT and wider organisation, delivering to budget, timescales and to the expected quality standards within MHA. Reporting to the Head of IT andworking alongside IT Technical, Application & Service Desk Managers you will establish and manage the overarching Programme Portfolio that ensures a strategic, consistent, and aligned approach to delivering a wide programme of work across all areas. You willneed to Communicate and drive cultural change with respect to budget & timescales including the implementation of consistent project monitoring & reporting. This will include prioritisation & workload monitoring across all projects & BAU work impacting theIT division. You will be responsible for how the IT department delivers project work within MHA. In addition, you will develop and maintain positive internal and external relationships and be a true brand ambassador for MHA by living our values: respect everyperson, treating them with dignity; nurture mind body and spirit; and inspire the best in each other.

**About you**

You will be an experienced IT Portfolio Manager with in depth experience in significant programme or portfolio delivery. Ideally qualified to MSP or MoP level you will need extensive experience coordinating and prioritising requirements & resource in a deliveryrole. In addition you will have a solid understanding of Agile development practices (e.g Scrum, Lean, Kanban). Excellent communication skills and strong organisational & time management skills are a must for this role.
