**JOB PURPOSE**:
Our client are looking for a content lead who can take ownership for bringing to life the companies brand and marketing strategy as well as managing the creative studio team. Experience of idea generation, creative planning and even content creation thatwill drive inbound leads, build awareness and brand transformation that will position us as a thought leader in the category. Reporting into the CMO, you'll work alongside teams focussed on Ecommerce, digital, demand generation, product marketing, brand andaccount-based (retail) marketing. Within the breadth of the role, it’s important that you enjoy working collaboratively.

**THE ROLE**:
- You’ll have held a lead role in a content/story telling marketing focused role.
- Excellent written, editorial experience and a proven track record of being able to explain complex things in a simple and digestible way. In a way that real people talk and understand
- You must be digital first and have a strong understanding of SEO and website/ecom content principles
- Able to set a content strategy aligned to channel needs and able to generate high-quality engaging content for each audience, partner and stage of the funnel
- Lead, manage and mentor our in-house content team and external writers
- Work collaboratively with the marketing team as well as sales and product to drive growth through content-led initiatives
- Able to and experience of copy writing and/or product writing with a demonstrated record of writing successful UX/UI copy. We are a small team and looking for someone who can roll up their sleeves and get stuck into the content making process when the needsarise.
- Excellent creative planning and creative team management skills that helps direct content to impact business results.
- Broad experience across content marketing channels and a thirst to build brand, test and learn and disrupt the category.
- Can demonstrate strong expertise in briefing internal creative and external marketing agencies.
- Able to repare and implement a comprehensive content calendar and establish a 90-day content process
- Budget management experience essential. We are looking for someone who can drive results for all our channels and partners but must be able to manage a cost effective and happy creative team
- Execute, track and optimize the content through structured tracking and reporting to improve awareness, engagement and conversion over time
- Good at celebrating overall achievements and success while recognizing outstanding individual efforts.
- Able to operate with a remote-first mindset, bringing your passion for creating an exceptional team culture and place to work in any situation
**SKILLS**:
- At least three years’ experience working with a content-led role within a marketing/ecom business or editorial role
- Experience in building integrated campaigns
- Experience of managing site content and producing content schedules
- Experience in using content to acquire, retain, and engage customers
- Attention to detail
- Ability to be creative and to produce innovative content
- Proficiency with content management platforms such as WordPress and Shopify a plus.
- Ability to use tools such as Google Analytics, Ahrefs, and Google Search Console
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and digital media outlets
- Ability to develop content that disrupts, entertains and provokes engagement.
