**Bank Mental Health Recovery Worker**

**Are you a Support Worker wanting to control your own rota with flexibility to work the shifts that suit you?**

**Whether you’re looking for extra shifts to boost your income or a flexible job that fits around your lifestyle, if you’re an experienced Support Worker you can join our staff bank and you’ll have access to available shifts at Target Housing, with a future option to work bank shifts at other Target Housing projects.**

**There is no minimum number of hours you’re required to work, though it is recommended to work as often as you can to ensure your induction knowledge and familiarity with the service is retained.**

**What you will be doing**:
You will join an inclusive, supportive team that works well together to provide support to people with mental health and/or learning disabilities. Whether you have experience as a support worker or care worker, you will use your knowledge and skills to help support people lead a valued and fulfilled life.

It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve; being able to do something today that they couldn’t do last week because of you.

With Target Housing, you’ll get experience what delivering great support should feel like as you make a real difference to some of the most vulnerable people in society, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated as you’re rewarded and enjoy a fulfilling role.

The project operates Monday to Friday between 8am to 6pm. As a support worker on our bank you’ll be on a zero hour contract, giving you the freedom to choose the shifts you want to work.

Location:  Sheffield

You will be working within the community in our client’s homes.

**Things that you will have**:

- Previous relevant experience working with Mental Health
- Strong team-working skills
- A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach
- A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
- A valid UK licence and access to your own vehicle
- A valid enhanced DBS check
